Chalet Orca is a luxury ski chalet in Val d’Isère, combining a peaceful setting in Le Fornet with an impressive line-up of high-end features. Sleeping up to 12 adults and 2 children across five floors, it delivers modern alpine-chic interiors, an elevated sunny outlook, and sweeping mountain views, ideal for an exceptional catered chalet stay.
The double-height main lounge is a highlight, framed by dramatic glazing that captures sunshine year-round and showcases the surrounding peaks. Plush sofas, textured throws and a statement fireplace set a warm, cosy tone, while the open-plan dining area sits just behind. The fully equipped kitchen is separated by an authentic wood bar, perfect for relaxed breakfasts, pre-dinner drinks, or watching your chef at work. Step onto the balcony for crisp alpine air and panoramic scenery.
After skiing, retreat to the dedicated wellness level with an indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and hammam, plus a stone Jacuzzi that flows into the pool. An Italian walk-in shower completes the spa area, and the fully equipped gym keeps everyone ready for the next ski day. A mezzanine games and TV lounge with a small bar and pool table adds an easy option for after-dinner entertainment.
The chalet offers four double bedrooms plus a family room, with refined timber finishes and soft furnishings for a polished chalet feel. The master suite includes an ethanol fireplace, while the family room features two double beds with overhead single bunks.
Ski access is simple: the Fornet gondola is around a short 200m walk for direct entry into the Tignes-Val d’Isère ski area. You can also start from the main snow front for key lifts, ski school meeting points and nursery slopes. Val d’Isère’s centre is approximately 4 minutes away by car, supported by an in-resort driver service (12hrs per day). Practical touches include garage parking with EV charging, lift access (except mezzanine), laundry facilities, a wine cellar and ski room with boot warmers.
Chalet Orca can also interconnect with its sister chalet, Chalet Orso, to create Chalet Les Ours for larger groups, an incredible option for up to 27 guests total.

Booking Conditions
These Booking Conditions set out the terms on which you contract with us for the arrangement and coordination of delivery of travel arrangements for your trip. By making a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Booking Conditions. We reserve the right to change these Booking Conditions at any time prior to you making a booking request.

Deposit
A 50% deposit per person, is payable upon us accepting your booking. Please note that we may not hold any services for you until we receive payment of your deposit, meaning that services may become unavailable or prices may increase, in which case you will be responsible for paying the increased price, and we will not be responsible if services become unavailable. Some arrangements may require full payment at the time of booking. We will advise you of this if this is the case.
Final Payment
Payment in full must be received no less than 90 days before commencement of your trip. Note: some trips or particular arrangements may require payment earlier or in additional instalments and this will be advised with the booking confirmation.
If you fail to make payment by the due date, we will remind you to make payment. In addition to the payment, you will also be responsible for any costs imposed on us by suppliers resulting from late payment. If we do not receive payment within 7 days after the reminder, you will be deemed to have cancelled your booking.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your booking by giving written notice to us. Cancellation fees and charges will be levied as follows:
- any amounts we have paid or have contractually committed to pay to third parties to deliver your travel arrangements which we cannot reasonably recover or not incur (for example payments made or due to third parties for accommodation, transfers, lift passes, ski rental, ski lessons, hire vehicles, and any other elements comprising your travel arrangements);
- a fee equal to the deposit or 25% of the booking value (whichever is the greater) to compensate us for work performed and associated overheads up until the time of cancellation (including work performed in connection with your travel arrangements prior to your booking) and our loss of expected profit; and
- a fee equal to AUD $330 or 5% of the booking value (whichever is the greater) to compensate us for processing the cancellation and any associated refund.
Cancellation fees and charges will not exceed payments received by us at the time of cancellation. If after the application of these fees and charges there is a surplus of payments you have made to us, we will refund this to you within a reasonable time.
Any payments we have made to third parties will only be refunded to you once we have deducted the above cancellation fees and charges and once we have actually recovered the amounts from the third parties. As we will be subject to third party terms and conditions, we make no guarantee that we will be able to make recoveries.
For group departures, a transfer of a confirmed booking to another departure date is deemed to be cancellation of the original booking.
