Chalet Orso is a contemporary luxury chalet in Val d’Isère, set in the quiet hamlet of Le Fornet while still close to the lifts. With 5 bedrooms sleeping 10–13 guests, it’s an exceptional choice for families and friends who want a private alpine base with an outstanding line-up of spa and entertainment facilities.
The main living spaces sit on the upper floors, led by an impressive lounge with soaring, beyond double-height ceilings and plush modern furnishings. A fireplace brings warmth and that classic chalet cosiness, while colossal picture windows frame the snowy landscape and mountain views. Just behind, the dining area can be configured to seat up to 20, supported by a large, fully equipped closed kitchen. Outdoor living is equally strong, with balconies off the lounge and a terrace complete with a firepit—perfect for après-ski cocktails under the stars.
Wellness is a defining feature of Chalet Orso. Outside, you’ll find a Nordic hot tub and a barrel sauna, while inside a dedicated spa area with stone finishes and soft lighting sets a calm, restorative mood. Enjoy an indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi, another sauna, a hammam, plus a fitness room for guests who like to stay active between ski days.
Entertainment is covered too. A mezzanine lounge above the dining space hosts a bar area alongside a pinball machine, table football and a jukebox—ideal for kids and adults alike. For slower evenings, there’s also a private cinema room for family movie nights.
Bedrooms include 4 double rooms plus a children’s room sleeping up to 5. The master suite is on the ground floor with an ethanol fireplace, terrace access and an en-suite shower room. The remaining bedrooms are on the first floor, including a double/twin with private balcony, plus three further en-suite rooms. Practical facilities include a ski room with boot warmers, garage parking with EV charging, laundry, and lift access to all floors except the mezzanine.
For larger groups, Chalet Orso can interconnect with its sister chalet, Chalet Orca, via an internal door to create Chalet Les Ours—an extraordinary combined chalet spanning 940 m² and sleeping 20–27 guests.
Catered stays are fully staffed with a professional chef, butler and in-resort driver service (12hrs per day). Chef service is included; food and drinks are charged extra.

Booking Conditions
These Booking Conditions set out the terms on which you contract with us for the arrangement and coordination of delivery of travel arrangements for your trip. By making a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Booking Conditions. We reserve the right to change these Booking Conditions at any time prior to you making a booking request.

Deposit
A 50% deposit per person, is payable upon us accepting your booking. Please note that we may not hold any services for you until we receive payment of your deposit, meaning that services may become unavailable or prices may increase, in which case you will be responsible for paying the increased price, and we will not be responsible if services become unavailable. Some arrangements may require full payment at the time of booking. We will advise you of this if this is the case.
Final Payment
Payment in full must be received no less than 90 days before commencement of your trip. Note: some trips or particular arrangements may require payment earlier or in additional instalments and this will be advised with the booking confirmation.
If you fail to make payment by the due date, we will remind you to make payment. In addition to the payment, you will also be responsible for any costs imposed on us by suppliers resulting from late payment. If we do not receive payment within 7 days after the reminder, you will be deemed to have cancelled your booking.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your booking by giving written notice to us. Cancellation fees and charges will be levied as follows:
- any amounts we have paid or have contractually committed to pay to third parties to deliver your travel arrangements which we cannot reasonably recover or not incur (for example payments made or due to third parties for accommodation, transfers, lift passes, ski rental, ski lessons, hire vehicles, and any other elements comprising your travel arrangements);
- a fee equal to the deposit or 25% of the booking value (whichever is the greater) to compensate us for work performed and associated overheads up until the time of cancellation (including work performed in connection with your travel arrangements prior to your booking) and our loss of expected profit; and
- a fee equal to AUD $330 or 5% of the booking value (whichever is the greater) to compensate us for processing the cancellation and any associated refund.
Cancellation fees and charges will not exceed payments received by us at the time of cancellation. If after the application of these fees and charges there is a surplus of payments you have made to us, we will refund this to you within a reasonable time.
Any payments we have made to third parties will only be refunded to you once we have deducted the above cancellation fees and charges and once we have actually recovered the amounts from the third parties. As we will be subject to third party terms and conditions, we make no guarantee that we will be able to make recoveries.
For group departures, a transfer of a confirmed booking to another departure date is deemed to be cancellation of the original booking.
