Is my level good enough?

The ski safari is for people who can ski at an intermediate level. It’s not a physical endurance challenge!

We rack up miles of skiing, but each day will be tailored to the private group. There are lots of alternative routes to take and we are essentially skiing for pleasure!

We stop for coffee breaks and comfortable lunches and the focus is on the experience. If you are unsure about your level, get in touch and talk to us. We can then assess your level together and tailor the safari to your needs and wish-list.

Is there a lot of hiking?

There is NO hiking. None at all! The ski safari is entirely lift-served. At the end of each day you can normally see your transport waiting for you as you ski the last piste/trail.

How are we transported?

Depending on your selected luxury ski safari itinerary, transport will be by scenic helicopter or private minivan transfers.

Where are my bags?

Your luggage is transported from hotel to hotel for you.

You are welcome to ski with a small backpack with water and other essentials should you wish to, but we will also be breaking regularly for refreshments.

Our focus is on your comfort!

Must I know the route?

The luxury ski safari is locally-guided. On guided ski days you will be accompanied by instructors qualified to the highest international standards in your chosen language – English or French. Our carefully-selected local guides know, love and are passionate about the ski areas you will be visiting. They know the best and safest pistes, the best restaurants, the best views and the best coffee stops. Your job is simply to follow and be inspired!

Why choose a luxury ski safari?

One of the unique and beautiful things about our luxury ski safaris is that we explore vast regions of the stunning French Alps in style, with all the logistics, planning and on-tour support taken care of from A-to-Z. All you have to do, is focus on enjoying the experience and the ride!
