Arrive in the charming village of Saint-Martin-de-Belleville. Unwind and celebrate your journey.

Your 3 Vallées Ski Safari begins with a luxury private Mercedes V-Class arrival transfer from Geneva Airport, Lyon Airport, Chambéry Airport, Moûtiers train station, or another airport or rail station within the French Alps.

Arrive in Courchevel 1850 and settle into Le K2 Palace, one of the most exceptional hotels in the French Alps. With ski-in/ski-out access, outstanding facilities and a true sense of arrival, it sets the tone for the safari from the moment you arrive.

Tonight, the group comes together for a hosted welcome dinner — the first shared moment of the journey.

Start the safari with a full guided ski day dedicated to Courchevel, one of the most extensive and varied sectors of the 3 Vallées. Rather than rushing across the ski area, today is about discovering the Courchevel valley properly: its best slopes, scenic routes, quieter corners, different village sectors and the terrain that makes Courchevel such an exceptional place to ski.

For the first guided ski day, the focus is on making the most of Courchevel’s terrain before lunch. You’ll spend the morning and early afternoon skiing with your guide, exploring some of the valley’s finest slopes and sectors, before stopping for a late signature lunch at one of Courchevel’s best mountain restaurants.

Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Ski independently, revisit favourite runs from the guided day, explore another Courchevel sector, or venture further across the 3 Vallées before returning to Courchevel for a relaxed evening.

Enjoy your final full ski day based in Courchevel before the safari moves on. Ski independently during the day, then in the evening experience a memorable alpine send-off with a hosted Courchevel evening activity.

This is designed as one of the signature moments of the trip: a mountain evening away from the usual village restaurant setting, with a Savoyard-style dinner and a proper winter atmosphere.

Today is where the ski safari really comes to life. After breakfast in Courchevel, your luggage is collected and transferred ahead to Méribel while you spend the day skiing from one valley to the next.

You can ski across with your host and the group, enjoying the journey together through the heart of the 3 Vallées, or make your own way at your own pace. There is no rush — Méribel check-in is from 4:00pm, and your luggage will be waiting in your room when you arrive after check-in.

This is the magic of a ski safari: no packing bags onto buses, no wasted transfer day, and no interrupting the skiing. You simply click into your skis in Courchevel and end the day at your next hotel in Méribel

Today is a full guided ski day dedicated to Méribel, the central valley of the 3 Vallées. Rather than rushing from resort to resort, the focus is on discovering Méribel properly: its best slopes, scenic sectors, forested runs, high-altitude terrain and excellent connections between Méribel Centre, Méribel-Mottaret and the surrounding ridgelines.

Your guide will shape the day around the best snow, weather and group level, helping you experience the Méribel valley in depth rather than simply passing through it.

The day builds towards one of the most memorable lunches of the safari: a late terrace lunch at La Folie Douce Méribel. With live singers, dancers and the famous Folie Douce atmosphere, this is far more than a mountain restaurant stop — it is one of the great 3 Vallées experiences.

After a guided day in the Méribel valley, today is yours to ski at your own pace. You may want to revisit favourite runs from the previous day, stay local around Méribel and Méribel-Mottaret, or use Méribel’s central position to venture further into the 3 Vallées.

This is a good day to make the safari your own: ski hard, take a slower morning, enjoy a mountain restaurant lunch, or leave time for the hotel spa before dinner.

Your host can assist with restaurant recommendations and table reservations if you would like lunch arranged during the day.

Enjoy your final full day based in Méribel before the safari continues towards Saint-Martin-de-Belleville. With the guided Méribel day already behind you, this is a good opportunity to ski independently, revisit favourite sectors, or use Méribel’s central position to explore further across the 3 Vallées.

You may choose to ski hard, take a more relaxed pace, enjoy a mountain restaurant lunch, or leave time for the hotel spa before your final evening in Méribel.

Today is the second true ski safari transition day. After breakfast in Méribel, your luggage is transferred ahead to Saint-Martin-de-Belleville while you ski across the 3 Vallées to your final village stay.

You can ski with your host and the group, or make your own way at your own pace. The route takes you from the central Méribel valley towards the quieter Belleville side of the 3 Vallées, where Saint-Martin offers a more traditional alpine village atmosphere.

Hotel check-in is from 4:00pm, and your luggage will be waiting in your room when you arrive after check-in. No transfer day, no wasted ski day — just another proper ski journey from one village to the next.

Today is a full guided ski day dedicated to the Belleville Valley, the largest valley of the 3 Vallées. From Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, your guide will lead the group through a completely different side of the ski area: traditional village charm, long cruising pistes, high-altitude terrain and some of the most varied skiing in the 3 Vallées.

The focus is on exploring the Belleville side properly, including Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, Les Menuires and Val Thorens. If conditions, timing and group level allow, the day may also continue towards Orelle, giving you the chance to ski to the far end of the 3 Vallées.

A signature lunch is planned at Chez Pépé Nicolas, one of the most atmospheric mountain restaurants in the Belleville Valley. With its alpine chalet setting, warm mountain character and exceptional food, it is a natural highlight of the day and a perfect fit for this part of the ski safari.

Enjoy the final ski day of the safari at your own pace. Ski locally from Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, return to favourite sectors from the guided Belleville day, or head further across the 3 Vallées for one last big ski day before departure.

This is also a good day to slow the pace if you prefer: enjoy a later start, book a favourite mountain restaurant for lunch, or leave time to relax at the hotel before the final evening.

Tonight, the safari concludes with a farewell dinner at La Bouitte in Saint-Marcel, home to the two-MICHELIN-starred restaurant René et Maxime Meilleur. It is a fitting final evening for the safari: refined alpine hospitality, exceptional mountain cuisine and one last shared experience with the group.

After breakfast, your luxury Mercedes V-Class departure transfer takes you from Saint-Martin-de-Belleville to your onward travel point. After 11 nights, three exceptional 3 Vallées villages, guided ski days, signature lunches and a two-MICHELIN-starred farewell dinner, the safari ends with a comfortable, seamless journey out of the mountains.

Your departure transfer is included to Geneva Airport, Lyon Airport, Chambéry Airport, Moûtiers train station, or another airport or rail station within the French Alps.

About Gilles Riou

I’m Gilles Riou, Founder of Top Snow Travel and your host for this journey.

I’ve been skiing in the French Alps for more than 40 years and have visited over 40 ski resorts across France. My connection to the Alps began in childhood, when my family had a holiday home in a French ski resort, and those early experiences shaped a lifelong passion for the mountains.

Before founding Top Snow Travel in 2015, I spent the first decade of my career in the travel industry selling ski holidays. Top Snow Travel was then created as a dedicated France ski holiday specialist, focused exclusively on helping clients experience the very best of the French Alps.

What I bring to every trip is first-hand knowledge, careful planning and a clear understanding of what makes a ski holiday seamless, enjoyable and worth the investment. Top Snow Travel was also recognised as a Finalist for World’s Best Ski Travel Agent to France 2025.

On this 3 Vallées Ski Safari, I’ll be hosting throughout the journey to help ensure the experience feels seamless from start to finish.
