OVERVIEW

Chalet Cristal A – 5 Bedrooms

Two chalets (Cristal A & Cristal B) are ideally located on Val d’Isere private estate “Les Carats”. Access is made via a private lift and security gate.

Chalets Cristal is perched over the valley and offers one of the best panoramic views of Val d’Isere village and almost ski in/ski out, being just 50 meters away from the Olympic Bellevarde slope.

  • Chalet Cristal A spans 350m² of accommodation over four levels.

The lounge is spacious and light with full-height windows that look out over the resort.
The furniture has been carefully chosen and the overall feel is that of an elegant home where guests feel like they can relax.

There’s also a large stone fireplace in the lounge and a home cinema system. Cristal A also has two terrace areas with outdoor heating systems so that you can enjoy lunch outside. There’s also a great indoor dining space and a well-equipped modern kitchen.

A deep sense of warmth

Wide light flooded volumes, open-space lounge, typical architecture of Savoie area, mountain decoration with wood beams, local pine wood walls and ceiling, baked clay in lounge and dining room, oak in bedrooms, luxu- rious Italian marble (Petra Antiqua) in bathrooms, wide bays facing east and south, open fire place.

Every detail counts to create a cosy Savoyard atmosphere with vibrant Provence touches.

The chalet also has a hammam, well stocked wine cellar and a ski & boot room with boot warmers. Finally for those who self-drive there’s private parking and garage parking.

Chalet Cristal A can be taken with Cristal B and can sleep 25 guests if combined.

SERVICES, FLOOR PLAN & ROOM LAYOUT

Tailor made services

The Cristal Chalet team is available for the guests before and during their stay. The Chalet Manager and the Hostess can arrange the transfer from the airport, book the skis or buy the ski passes on your behalf. They will also ensure the smooth running of the operations on a daily basis: breakfast, afternoon tea, housekeeping. The Chef can also provide lunch, aperitive and dinner on request.

Catering services include a personalised service, daily breakfast, daily cleaning and linen. You will be welcome by a bilingual French/English hostess. She can be reached anytime on her mobile phone. Every morning, from 8:00am to 9:30am a lavish continental breakfast will be served. You can specify you requirements prior to your arrival and during your stay all you need is ask.

Fine linen and towels are provided: sheets, bath and hand towels, bath mats, bathrobes, are changed every Wednesday (daily shift on request). Household linen for kitchen and dining-room (cloths and napkins) included. Daily cleaning service is included.

Lunch and dinner can be provided by our own chef. Booking in advance is necessary, mentioning the days you require.

Our cellar includes some of the greatest French vintages, from the most reputed wine regions : Loire, Bordeaux, Alsace, Champagne.

Bedrooms

Chalet Cristal A has five bedrooms – three of which are en-suites that have the flexibility to be set out as either doubles or twins. The further two bedrooms are doubles, the first with a private bathroom and the second on a mezzanine level with an extra two single beds and en-suite bathroom, 2 extra choldren’s beds can be added at an extra cost.

In total the property can sleep twelve adults or eight adults and four children. All of the bedrooms have LCD televisions with satellite channels, DVD players and internet access. It’s also worth mentioning that the fabulous master bedroom has a fireplace.

As the chalet is set over four floors it’s always easy to find a quiet corner – all of the floors can be accessed via a private lift.

Master Bedroom Suite

King-size bed (or twin-size beds), with an open fireplace, large screen plasma TV, half-timbered ceiling. Dressing-room with half-timbered ceiling, with wide storage capacity. En-suite bathroom with shower and bath with view over Val d’Isere station, restroom, half-timbered ceiling.

Bedroom 2

King-size bed (or 2 twin-beds), with en-suite bathroom with shower and wash-basin. Ceiling and walls in pine, oak floor, integrated wooden wardrobe on both sides of the bed, LCD TV set.

Bedroom 3

King-size bed (or 2 twin-beds), with separate bathroom with shower and wash-basin. Ceiling and walls in pine, oak floor, integrated wooden wardrobe on both sides of the bed, LCD TV set.

Bedroom 4

King-size bed (or 2 twin-beds), with en-suite bathroom with shower and wash-basin. Ceiling and walls in pine, integrated wooden wardrobe on both sides of the bed, LCD TV set.

Bedroom 5 (Kids Bunk Room)

Kids Bunk Room, with separate toilets and bathroom with shower. 2 twin-beds (80 X 200) in the mézzanine, and 2 beds (200 X 90 and 190X 80). Ceiling and walls in pine, integrated wooden wardrobe, LCD TV set. Extra 2 extra chidren’s beds can be added at an extra cost.
