Top snow travel was an excellent service. This past winter (3-7-2026 ) was my first time outside the U.S. Over a Zoom meeting with Gilles I explained to him what I wanted in my trip and he took care of the rest. He stayed in touch via email answering any questions with a timely response despite the time difference. Gilles and Top Snow took care of all aspects of our trip - ground transfers, lodging, lift passes, lessons, rentals - making the trip stress-free. Gilles also provided a lot of guidance on choosing the right resort to visit for our family and 5-year-old grandson. And Arc 1950 didn't disappoint! The best pedestrian only, ski-in, ski-out resort we've stayed in and we've been to a few. Very happy we used Top Snow and would recommend them for skiing the French Alps!

Had such a great Christmas & New Years ski trip at Les Arc 1950 all thanks to Gillies and the Top Snow Travel team!! Perfect ski in/out accommodation which was spacious for the family (kids loved the pool after a days skiing). All mountain transfers, trains, ski hire and lift tickets sorted - we literally didn’t have to think about anything or stress ourselves out (especially coming from the other side of the world with young kids!). Perfect recommendations for dinners and other snow activities. Les Arc 1950 was perfect choice 🙏 such a cute village and it really topped our French Alps stay! We’ll be sure to use Gillies when we return with the extended family in the future!

Gilles did a terrific job with our ski trip. We had 10 families go over to France for a birthday trip in January this year. Not all the families used Gilles but the ones that did, including ours, were very happy with his service. I knew which resort we wanted to go to but Gilles was fantastic at selecting and booking the accommodation (which was amazing) as well as suggesting and booking restaurants. Gilles and Top Snow Travel are the best! Our group of six can be picky and demanding, and Gilles built a trip that took care of us all in Courchevel 1850. I first discovered Top Snow Travel on YouTube. After viewing several of Gilles' videos and appreciating the wealth of experience and depth knowlegde he had in relation to French Alps and Resorts; I decided to reach out to Gilles to assist with planning our families "last minute booking" trip to France skiing. Top Snow Travel did an excellent job orchestrating and planning our family ski vacation to the French Alps. From the very beginning, Gilles was incredibly responsive, patient, and helpful in tailoring the trip to our specific needs—especially traveling with a young child and wanting an authentic European village experience. Arc 1950 was a great choice for our family, with a charming town center and a fantastic location. While weather and snow conditions were challenging at times (completely out of anyone’s control), Top Snow’s planning and support made the trip as smooth as possible. A true highlight of our vacation was the private transfer arranged by Top Snow. Our driver, Sam (the owner of the car service), was outstanding—professional, safety-focused, and proactive. His advice to leave early due to weather concerns turned out to be absolutely the right call, and we are very grateful for his careful drive to Geneva. Overall, Top Snow Travel delivered exactly what they promised: thoughtful planning, excellent communication, and dependable partners on the ground. Our chalets are exclusively rent on half board basis.

Breakfast and dinner are served in the chalet. For dinner, a French cooking Chef is at disposal. A private menu with large and varied choices (more than 40) is offered and each evening the guests can select, for the whole chalet: 1 or 2 starters, 1 or 2 main courses, 1 or 2 desserts. This selection must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance to the chalet butler.

It is possible to have dinner in our restaurant « La Mourra » (direct access from the chalet) or in our restaurant « Le Blizzard » (located in our sister hotel Le Blizzard), on previous reservation and depending on availability. The guests select their meals within each restaurant menu for an amount of 50 € maximum per person. Beyond this amount, it will be charged on extra. Drinks are on supplement.

Chalet La Grange is a fantastic property in the old part of Val d’Isere Village. Traditional in style yet offering all the modern comforts, this homely chalet can sleep up to 9 guests.

Named after its majestic cathedral ceiling, Chalet La Grange’s open-plan living space reaps in ample amount of light, to fully absorb the breathtaking views of the Face de Bellevarde. Natural, exposed wooden décor creates a traditional Alpine atmosphere, perfect for relaxing in front of the fireplace. With the whole group comfortably seated around the dining table, the conversations can continue whilst indulging on your chef’s evening delicacies. There is a separate modern kitchen divided from the main living space by glass, so whilst you can still watch your chef in action, privacy remains.

In warmer temperatures, venture onto the outdoor terrace area to admire the stunning snow-capped mountain views.

A study space can also be found in the main living area, for any guests needing to catch up on any missed work but not wanting to be left out of the day’s ski conversations.

Retreat to Chalet La Grange’s wellness area, to loosen any aching muscles in the indoor swimming pool, which also offers a counter current system for any keen swimmers. There is also a sauna, steam room and massage cabin for an ultimate relaxation experience. The cinema room, on the lowest level of the property, presents the perfect spot to unwind to the latest film in the evening, before relishing a well-deserved night’s rest!

In total, this Val d’Isere luxury ski chalet sleeps up to 9 guests across its four bedrooms. Each bedroom can be arranged as a king-size double or twin, as well as benefitting from en-suite bathrooms with separate showers. Two of the bedrooms on the first floor have additional access to a shared balcony area. An extra single bed can be found in one of the bedrooms on the first floor, making Chalet La Grange suitable for a mixed group of family and friends.

Being part of the La Mourra hamlet, guests benefit from having access to the facilities and services of La Mourra Hotel Village as well as the Hotel spa by Clarins.

Breakfast
Breakfast is served buffet-style in our restaurant, or in the room with supplement. If our guests wish to have dinner in one of our restaurants, we highly recommend that they book a table in advance (subject to availability).

Food service
At lunch, the hotel bar provides a light selection (hot and cold), a child menu and in the afternoon, a large choice of pastries. For dinner, a Japanese influenced cuisine is served for a marvelous and friendly dinner. In addition, a room service menu is available 24h/24.

Spa “My Blend by Clarins”

Free entrance to our Wellness Centre: heated indoor swimming pool 17 meters long, sauna, steam room and relaxation room. Our physiotherapists and osteopath provide a wide range of massages, on request and on supplement. Spa “My Blend By Clarins”: our beauticians propose our clients a full range of “Clarins” personalized massages and treatments, on request and on supplement.

Services and amenities included in the suites:

Satellite TV and Apple TV, radio, telephone, free mini-bar, Wi-Fi, safe, access to the Spa My Blend by Clarins. We offer exclusively the Bed & Breakfast package (half board is not possible). Nevertheless, a room service menu is provided 24h/24 to our clientele.

Arrival and Departure

Rooms are ready from 3 pm on arrival day, and must be released by 12 noon on departure day. An early or late check-in should be mentioned before arrival. A late check-out, on previous request and depending on availability, may result additional charges.

Non-Smoking

All our rooms are strictly non-smoking. We request our guest to smoke only outside on the balconies; pocket ashtrays are available in the chalets. If smells of cigarettes and/or damages due to tobacco consumption are inflicted in the chalets, the hotel may reserve the right to invoice the cost of the cleaning service.

Booking Conditions

These Booking Conditions set out the terms on which you contract with us for the arrangement and coordination of delivery of travel arrangements for your trip. By making a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Booking Conditions. We reserve the right to change these Booking Conditions at any time prior to you making a booking request.

Deposit

A 50% deposit per person, is payable upon us accepting your booking. Please note that we may not hold any services for you until we receive payment of your deposit, meaning that services may become unavailable or prices may increase, in which case you will be responsible for paying the increased price, and we will not be responsible if services become unavailable. Some arrangements may require full payment at the time of booking. We will advise you of this if this is the case.

Final Payment

Payment in full must be received no less than 90 days before commencement of your trip. Note: some trips or particular arrangements may require payment earlier or in additional instalments and this will be advised with the booking confirmation.

If you fail to make payment by the due date, we will remind you to make payment. In addition to the payment, you will also be responsible for any costs imposed on us by suppliers resulting from late payment. If we do not receive payment within 7 days after the reminder, you will be deemed to have cancelled your booking.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your booking by giving written notice to us. Cancellation fees and charges will be levied as follows:

any amounts we have paid or have contractually committed to pay to third parties to deliver your travel arrangements which we cannot reasonably recover or not incur (for example payments made or due to third parties for accommodation, transfers, lift passes, ski rental, ski lessons, hire vehicles, and any other elements comprising your travel arrangements);

a fee equal to the deposit or 25% of the booking value (whichever is the greater) to compensate us for work performed and associated overheads up until the time of cancellation (including work performed in connection with your travel arrangements prior to your booking) and our loss of expected profit; and

a fee equal to AUD $330 or 5% of the booking value (whichever is the greater) to compensate us for processing the cancellation and any associated refund.

Cancellation fees and charges will not exceed payments received by us at the time of cancellation. If after the application of these fees and charges there is a surplus of payments you have made to us, we will refund this to you within a reasonable time.

Any payments we have made to third parties will only be refunded to you once we have deducted the above cancellation fees and charges and once we have actually recovered the amounts from the third parties. As we will be subject to third party terms and conditions, we make no guarantee that we will be able to make recoveries.

For group departures, a transfer of a confirmed booking to another departure date is deemed to be cancellation of the original booking.
