The Chalet des Alpes is a no smoking independent chalet with wonderful view on the old village and the mythic slope of Bellevarde – Located at a few minutes from the center.
Close to the old village of Val d’Isère, with its winding back streets and original chalets, Chalet des Alpes is a modern chalet built in the traditional, local style.
The chalet is situated conveniently for the slopes and has views across to La Face from its large top floor windows and living area, and up towards the Aiguille du Dôme behind, whilst the river Isère flows close by.

The chalet has been finished to a fabulously high standard and is characterised by lots of contemporary design touches. Comfortable and well-furnished, it has an ideal layout with plenty of space and separate living areas for large families, groups of friends or guests looking for a shared chalet experience.
The open plan living area takes up the entire top floor, with balconies on two sides. A dining area, bar, banquettes and separate breakfast bar make it an extremely sociable space, and especially cosy with the open fire. An alpine ladder leads to a mezzanine level above, with a TV and banquettes – a quiet retreat with a book or a teenage hideaway.
On the first floor below are four bedrooms, each with good wardrobe space, its own flat screen TV, en suite shower rooms and separate WCs. The fifth bedroom is on the ground floor, again with en suite shower room. The main entrance opens into the ski room with plenty of space for equipment and boot warmers.
There’s also a garage with space for two cars, for those who self drive. The lower ground floor features the swimming pool and hammam, as well as a games room with a large curved TV – for some relaxation after a day on the slopes.

Booking Conditions
These Booking Conditions set out the terms on which you contract with us for the arrangement and coordination of delivery of travel arrangements for your trip. By making a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Booking Conditions. We reserve the right to change these Booking Conditions at any time prior to you making a booking request.

Deposit
A 50% deposit per person, is payable upon us accepting your booking. Please note that we may not hold any services for you until we receive payment of your deposit, meaning that services may become unavailable or prices may increase, in which case you will be responsible for paying the increased price, and we will not be responsible if services become unavailable. Some arrangements may require full payment at the time of booking. We will advise you of this if this is the case.
Final Payment
Payment in full must be received no less than 90 days before commencement of your trip. Note: some trips or particular arrangements may require payment earlier or in additional instalments and this will be advised with the booking confirmation.
If you fail to make payment by the due date, we will remind you to make payment. In addition to the payment, you will also be responsible for any costs imposed on us by suppliers resulting from late payment. If we do not receive payment within 7 days after the reminder, you will be deemed to have cancelled your booking.
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your booking by giving written notice to us. Cancellation fees and charges will be levied as follows:
- any amounts we have paid or have contractually committed to pay to third parties to deliver your travel arrangements which we cannot reasonably recover or not incur (for example payments made or due to third parties for accommodation, transfers, lift passes, ski rental, ski lessons, hire vehicles, and any other elements comprising your travel arrangements);
- a fee equal to the deposit or 25% of the booking value (whichever is the greater) to compensate us for work performed and associated overheads up until the time of cancellation (including work performed in connection with your travel arrangements prior to your booking) and our loss of expected profit; and
- a fee equal to AUD $330 or 5% of the booking value (whichever is the greater) to compensate us for processing the cancellation and any associated refund.
Cancellation fees and charges will not exceed payments received by us at the time of cancellation. If after the application of these fees and charges there is a surplus of payments you have made to us, we will refund this to you within a reasonable time.
Any payments we have made to third parties will only be refunded to you once we have deducted the above cancellation fees and charges and once we have actually recovered the amounts from the third parties. As we will be subject to third party terms and conditions, we make no guarantee that we will be able to make recoveries.
For group departures, a transfer of a confirmed booking to another departure date is deemed to be cancellation of the original booking.
