An authentic and refined chalet

With its flagstone roof, this traditional Savoie-style residence offers an authentic and subdued decor, perfect for spending time with friends and family.

Interior designer Michel Force chose to favour the authenticity and nobility of the materials used on every floor of the hotel, tastefully playing with various wood tones, stones and fabrics.

Top snow travel was an excellent service. This past winter (3-7-2026 ) was my first time outside the U.S. Over a Zoom meeting with Gilles I explained to him what I wanted in my trip and he took care of the rest. He stayed in touch via email answering any questions with a timely response despite the time difference. Once I selected a package, he put together an itinerary that was easy to follow making my travels simple. I would use Top Snow Travels service again and recommend their services. Thank you Gilles.

Gilles and Top Snow took care of all aspects of our trip - ground transfers, lodging, lift passes, lessons, rentals - making the trip stress-free. Gilles also provided a lot of guidance on choosing the right resort to visit for our family and 5-year-old grandson. And Arc 1950 didn't disappoint! The best pedestrian only, ski-in, ski-out resort we've stayed in and we've been to a few. Very happy we used Top Snow and would recommend them for skiing the French Alps!

Had such a great Christmas & New Years ski trip at Les Arc 1950 all thanks to Gillies and the Top Snow Travel team!! Perfect ski in/out accommodation which was spacious for the family (kids loved the pool after a days skiing). All mountain transfers, trains, ski hire and lift tickets sorted - we literally didn’t have to think about anything or stress ourselves out (especially coming from the other side of the world with young kids!). Perfect recommendations for dinners and other snow activities. Les Arc 1950 was perfect choice 🙏 such a cute village and it really topped our French Alps stay! We’ll be sure to use Gillies when we return with the extended family in the future!

Gilles did a terrific job with our ski trip. We had 10 families go over to France for a birthday trip in January this year. Not all the families used Gilles but the ones that did, including ours, were very happy with his service. I knew which resort we wanted to go to but Gilles was fantastic at selecting and booking the accommodation (which was amazing) as well as suggesting and booking restaurants. He made everything run smoothly and i wouldn't hesitate to use him again on our next European ski holiday.

Gilles and Top Snow Travel are the best! Our group of six can be picky and demanding, and Gilles built a trip that took care of us all in Courchevel 1850. Prompt, knowledgeable, and patient, it was a pleasure to work with Top Snow Travel. We were especially impressed with Gilles ability to work with the hotel(s) to accommodate our groups specific needs (and wow, le K2 Palace was amazing). Everything from transportation to ski guides to accommodations all happened like clockwork. We highly recommend Top Snow Travel and look forward to working with Gilles for our next French Alps ski trip!

I first discovered Top Snow Travel on YouTube. After viewing several of Gilles' videos and appreciating the wealth of experience and depth knowlegde he had in relation to French Alps and Resorts; I decided to reach out to Gilles to assist with planning our families "last minute booking" trip to France skiing. Gilles was very approachable, professional and incredibly responsive providing thorough advice on all matters skiing, lessons/guides, lifts, on/off mountain activities for my non-skiing wife, accomodation options, transfers, dining options, etc....along with answering every conceivable question one could ask. The options assessment and booking process was swift, effortless and the resultant trip to Meribel 3 Vallees France amazing. If you are looking to ski France I highly recommend you contact Gilles at Top Snow Travel. Thanks for making our families recent trip easy and thus a fond and memorable experience Gilles!

Top Snow Travel did an excellent job orchestrating and planning our family ski vacation to the French Alps. From the very beginning, Gilles was incredibly responsive, patient, and helpful in tailoring the trip to our specific needs—especially traveling with a young child and wanting an authentic European village experience. Arc 1950 was a great choice for our family, with a charming town center and a fantastic location. While weather and snow conditions were challenging at times (completely out of anyone’s control), Top Snow’s planning and support made the trip as smooth as possible. A true highlight of our vacation was the private transfer arranged by Top Snow. Our driver, Sam (the owner of the car service), was outstanding—professional, safety-focused, and proactive. His advice to leave early due to weather concerns turned out to be absolutely the right call, and we are very grateful for his careful drive to Geneva. Overall, Top Snow Travel delivered exactly what they promised: thoughtful planning, excellent communication, and dependable partners on the ground. Gilles was a pleasure to work with and always quick to answer questions. Despite some uncontrollable weather challenges, our family had a great experience, and I would absolutely recommend Top Snow Travel to anyone planning a ski trip to the French Alps.

Hammam, sauna and Jacuzzi are also key parts of your quest for absolute tranquillity. A brand new fitness room awaits guests who want to work out using today’s most technologically advanced equipment.

The Spa is open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

The Spa offers a wide range of facial and body treatments with numerous positive virtues: anti-stress , anti-aging, beauty care, slimming, world massages… a variety of choices for everyone seeking a feeling of deep well-being.

Hairdressing salon

These hair beauty rituals are planned individually for each client, and are inspired by Japanese traditions, similarly to a traditional Japanese tea ceremony.

Every step brings harmony to the scalp and hair, building a feeling of wellness thanks to Shiatsu-inspired movements. Shiatsu is a manual therapy technique practiced for thousands of years in the Far East, consisting most often of vertical pressure applied by the thumbs.

Comfortably settled into the salon’s massaging armchair, you can appreciate the benefits of this experience with an “Initiation” ceremony. This 15 minutes ritual includes shampooing your hair twice, with gentle pressure points that free your scalp of tension, followed by a capillary mask. The ceremony is completed by other Shiatsu points on your neck, head, shoulders and trapezius muscles. Then choose a cut, highlights, styling… or whatever else you may desire.

Pro-Shop, dedicated to fashion and skiing

The Pro-shop also takes care of tuning skis and boots, and offers luggage and ski storage services from one season to the next.
The hotel’s Pro-shop is the largest ski store at the resort, with a surface area of over 250 m² on two floors. You will also find all the major names in ready-to-wear winter sportswear, such as Lacroix, Goldbergh, Fire & Ice, Dale of Norway, Moscow, Henjl, and Fenix, as well as Victorinox luggage…
